About Linda T. Phillips
Born and raised a Texan, Linda T. Phillips is a lover of the written word and expresses that love in writing. Among Linda's other interests are creating and designing book covers and illustrations for clients through Entry Way Publishing where she works closely with owner and operator VicToria Freudiger. Other duties include editing and helping authors to find their place in the literary world.
Author of A Day in BugsHollow, her first children's book allowed Ms. Phillips to showcase her own illustrations and book cover design. Do The Daffodils Know My Name?, a second children's book, will be on the shelves soon along with The Real Border Crusade, one family's journey, a non-fiction book regarding her own family's struggle with immigration.
She is, by her own design, the official slayer of monsters under the bed for her three 'grand princesses' and is most passionate about family (her husband of 42 years and two 'grown' sons and two amazing daughters-in-law) and a host of characters she calls friends. She has put the pen to paper all her life and also loves to step into the minds of other people to create their vision.
Linda also answers to the call of nail technician and has established a successful nail business for over 19 years.

by Linda T. Phillips
Raina Richards was an unpredictable girl living in an predictable town. Ideals and goals for her friends only stretched as far as the end of their noses, or at least to the end of their driveways; so life was pretty simple.
The fiery, spirited redhead from Level Crossing had a dream and if she was ever going to be the 'world's most famous journalist', the first thing she had to do was graduate and get out of Level Crossing.
Nothing would please her more than to get on the first bus out of town and she was determined NOTHING was going to hold her back... nothing except maybe a man who loved her with all his heart.
